Poll: Why is Development 'Performance-Driven'?
It won't be surprising for most of us to find out that the thing the average dev cares most about in a computer is performance: CPU power, amount/type of RAM, high-efficiency SSD/HDD, the list goes on. What we aren’t sure of, however, is what we use all of this (unlimited?) power doing during a given day developing.
With that, I present this week’s poll: Why is Development ‘Performance-Driven’? Let’s see what our devs actually do when you give them a fully operational computing station.
