GridGain's 2013 Preview

2012 was an exciting time here at GridGain as we grew on following our first round of investment. From a couple of guys in a garage we grew into a typical scrappy Silicon Valley startup working on product, sales and, most importantly, understanding who our customers are. We’ve come a long way on all of these fronts.

For the last 9 months we’ve been working on a breakthrough GridGain-based technology that we’ll be releasing in 2-3 months. All I can say is that it relates toHadoop. It will, in many ways, change the way we think about Hadoop and what applications can be run on Hadoop. It will also change our perception about latency and performance of Hadoop applications.

But we are already working on the next iterations of the same technologies. Two words will define these two GridGain-based products that are scheduled for Q213-Q313: MongoDB and Amazon S3.
